The National Youth Concert Band 2024 programme ('the Courses’) run from 2-9 April, 2024 at Stamford School in Lincolnshire. The final concert will be on 9 April 2024 at the Warwick Hall, Warwick School. The Summer event will run from 23-25 August at Chetham’s School of Music with a concert in the Stoller Hall, Manchester on 25th August..

By accepting your child's place on the Programme, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

This agreement is between you, the parent or guardian of the student, and National Youth Concert Band CIC, a registered Community Interest Company limited by guarantee.

1. Fees

The cost of attending the Course is £985. By accepting your child's place, you agree to pay the fees by the dates indicated in the payment plan, unless otherwise agreed in writing with the Directors of National Youth Concert Band CIC.

Details of the payment plan instalment dates are given in the Schooble account you created to submit your child's application.

Fees for the Course cover 7 nights full board, 3 meals a day plus drinks and snacks, all expert tuition and entertainment, and transport to the concert venue.

2. Offer of a place

If your child accepts a place in NYCB, they are expected to attend both events - Spring and Summer. Repertoire will be repeated between courses, with any changes to programming decided by the directors.

3. Cancellation policy

a) If National Youth Concert Band CIC cancels the course, any fees you have paid will be refunded.

b) If you cancel your child's attendance before the course takes place, the following refund policy will apply:

i) Cancellation more than 12 weeks before the course start date, or within 14 days of making your first payment (the statutory cooling-off period): All fees will be refunded.

ii) Cancellation more than 8 weeks but less than 12 weeks before the course start date: All fees will be refunded, minus a £100 cancellation fee to cover administration costs.

iii) Cancellation more than 4 weeks but less than 8 weeks before the course start date: All fees will be refunded, minus a £250 cancellation fee to cover increased administration costs.

iv) Cancellation more than 2 weeks but less than 4 weeks before the course start date: All fees will be refunded, minus a £350 cancellation fee to cover increased administration costs.

v) Cancellation less than 2 weeks before the course start date: No fees will be refunded.

4. Data protection

Your data will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy of our online platform Schooble and our software provider Paritor Ltd. Any fuher information provided by you in the medical consent and information form, or via NYCB email addresses, will be treated confidentially and shared only with the relevant members of staff working on the Course.
